Villandry Cres is at the Heart of Maple Community. The Community of Maple runs from Jane and Highway 400 on the west to Rutherford Road in the south, the Go Railway Barrier line on the east, and Teston Road on the north. Bounding highway 400 and having two GO stations, Maple offers its residents convenient transportation to transit to downtown Toronto. The West part of the Community is newer, with many houses built after 2000. In past 3 months, 59 Detached homes were sold at average of $1.51M. Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipino are other visible minorities living in Maple. Further south of Jane Street is Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, where residents can take a subway to downtown Toronto at Vaughan Subway station. Residents can purchase a season pass to get unlimited access each year. At the junction of Jane Street and Major Mackenzie Drive, Mackenzie Glen Square is a large shopping plaza anchored by several well-respected tenants, including Longo, McDonald and Scotia Bank.
